Balloon puzzles have been around since the invention of jigsaw puzzles or the invention of hot air balloons, whichever came first. I remember them as a kid and I have seen countless pictures of them.
They are not my favorite puzzles, yet here I sit voluntarily working on one. Every time I work on a puzzle, I believe it's the hardest one, and yet is there a puzzle out there that can claim the title of hardest puzzle in the Universe and beyond? Maybe!
At first, the colors appeared simple and painless, yet now each piece shows it's true self as a mixed together jumble of fun. After all this slight groaning I still like it and like the colors involved and hopefully the happiness of solving it in the end will be well worth it.
I'm listening to Faithful to Christ by my hero Charles Spurgeon. Thank goodness many of his sermons and writings were saved and are still very relevant today. Of course, the most amazing person is our Lord Jesus Christ who is more than a hero, He is our everything.
Here are a few quotes from the book:
“Pride is something that should be unnatural to us, for we have nothing to be proud of.”
“There is nothing the human heart falls into as easily as pride, and yet there is no sin that is more frequently, more emphatically, and more eloquently condemned in Scripture.”
“The soul is wider than creation and broader than space. Even if these people were given everything, they would still be unsatisfied and would not find rest.”
